Intraoral Cameras

Using a handheld, pen-like device, our intraoral camera makes it possible for our team to look closer and readily identify problem areas inside the mouth. It is capable of transmitting high-resolution images of the teeth and gums onto a nearby computer screen. It also enables us to show a patient the area(s) of concern as well as explain the importance of treatment.

All-Digital X-Rays

All digital x-rays on chairside computer screen

Oral health problems don’t only exist in areas seen by the naked eye. This is why we use all-digital X-rays to help us see below the gum line. Cavities, infections, and damage can form outside the perimeter of the crown, and these digital radiographs make it easier to get a clearer view and provide a more thorough diagnosis. Not to mention, they emit up to 90% less radiation than traditional X-rays and capture higher-quality images.

Digital Impression System

In the past, cold, messy dental putty was used to capture a patient’s bite; however, results were often less accurate. With recent advancements, we now use a digital impression system. Offering a more precise and mess-free solution, the iTero scanner can be used to prepare patients for restorative and orthodontic treatment. Whether it is CEREC crowns or Invisalign clear aligners, we can ensure a more natural-looking, comfortable fit.

Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry

Traditional scalpels and sutures are no longer necessary thanks to the inclusion of the Biolase soft tissue laser. The concentrated beam of light offers greater control and accuracy when providing treatment, and we can reduce recovery times, minimize bleeding and swelling, and lower the risk of infection. Our soft tissue laser is also quiet and targets specific areas without touching nearby, healthy tissues. It’s possible you may not even need anesthesia when undergoing treatment!
